The sorrows of the old man
The lonesome church at Auvers
What truth to die of? Nay! Art is there,
Art will give us refuge
Art will console us
Art will save us
Art will delay death
Art will bargain for us.
I will not surrender
I will not decay
I will not disappear
I will live on, on the spiral strokes of the Starry Night
I will live on, on the blue waves of the Starry Night
I will live on, on the floating yellow moon of the Starry Night
