Human monster

Cover of Human monster

“Who hasn’t ever wonder: Am I a monster or is this what it means to be a person”
Clarice Lispector.
Human monster
: Consumed by anger
Hatred has its way with me
Drowned in malice
Lies gushing out profusely
Heart is indifferent
Heart has known callousness
Heart has been merciless
I have known remorseless
Ego is not a stranger
I have befriended greed
I have taken more than I needed
I have hoarded when I should have given
My words have been acerbic
My words have been spiteful
My actions have been malevolent
I have shaken hands with violence
Manipulation have crossed my path
I have been a deceiver
I have schemed evil
I have chosen evil when I saw goodness
I have taken many lives in my thoughts
I have wished cursed words
Lust visited yesterday
Kindness have been rejected again and again
Nature is sinful,
I have wondered, am I a monster?
Or is this what it means to be a human?
