God and Sin

“But I don’t want comfort, I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness, I want sin”
Aldous Huxley.
God and Sin
: Don’t give me comfort it is only for sleep
Give me God let me wrestle with Him and get my answers
Give me poetry and let my soul be in awe
Give me real danger and rattle my heart
Give me freedom a terrifying one but take away the lonesomeness,
Give me goodness because there is not enough
Give me everything but sin,
Rather, show me sin
Let me wrestle with it
show me what it has done to me
Show me what I am without sin
Show me what it has done to men
Sin and men are inseparable
It will continue to endure and if it must endure
Then it must show us the true nature of God
Then it becomes a requirement to know God
Absurd as it maybe,
The path to sainthood is through sin
Paradoxical as it may seem
The climb to heaven is through sin
Blasphemous as it may sound
Then I want sin, show me sin
Let me wrestle with it
It will eventually lead me to God
Show me the dangers of sin
Show me the sin of comfort
Show me the sin of freedom
Give me goodness so that I don’t lose my way to divinity.
