A universe of secrets

Cover of A universe of secrets

“There are truths I haven’t even told God, and not even myself. I am a secret under the lock of seven keys”

Clarice Lispector.

A universe of secrets

: The faces I have worn

The walls I have erected

The layers that cover my heart

Piles of skin that I am,

Stories I have buried inside

Pounds of shame I hold secret

Lies that have made me,

Mistakes hiding deep in my soul

Secrets behind a universe of darkness

Truths that I haven’t even told God

Truths of me that I am even oblivious,

Secrets I have kept hidden under a void of who I really am

Deflection of reflection to avoid whom I have become,

The heap of identities under my skin

wrapped under hundred blankets of forgery,

I don’t know who I am

I haven’t shown myself who I really am

This reality will loathe who I really am

Not enough lifetime to reveal who I am

My truths are mine

My secrets are mine

I am hidden under all the unwanted truths of humanness.
